  2. Make sure the terminals / system you are processing through has the tap or chip reader. This strengthens security and will help your case . A mag swipe reader does not have as much protection to help you win the challenged transaction and save your money.

 

Remember that there is a time limit to the response to a 12B retrieval request form and if you are lax and let this pass the potential to defense against a challenged transaction is drastically reduced – keep on top of this information.
